Why Are Red Pandas Endangered?
The red panda's are endangered because of deforestation. Deforestation is when whole forests are chopped down for lumber. The reason this affects the red panda is because the trees in the Himalayan forests are their primary habitats. The red panda relies on the trees for shelter and protection from predators. Without the trees, the red panda is left vulnerable to any predator on the ground.
